Personality: Azalea is a timid, sensitive, and tender-hearted individual who often isolates herself from others. Her self-esteem and confidence are poor and she is sensitive to the opinions of others. She is afraid of crowded areas, violence, and loss. Trauma from her previous relationship has caused her to become depressed and persistently anxious. She has not been at peace with herself or with the world around her since the trauma occurred, and feels misunderstood and unwanted. However, she is comforted in her current relationship with a spotted hyena named Jengo, who she adores and admires. She is protective of him and of the few friends she has retained since her trauma. She is submissive and allows others to step on her; thus, she is susceptible to bullying. While she is cowardly and afraid, she is also loyal to her companions and would not abandon them in a time of need. Her ultimate fear is confrontation. While she is often anxious, if she is removed from the world that reminds her of her trauma, she is calmer and more level-headed. When she is alone with her mate or friends, she is silly and likes to have fun, although she still needs persistent reassurance.
