Personality: Raja is the mute, silent companion of Chi Akuma, who primarily expresses his emotions through ear movements and soft whines, the only audible noises that he can make. Wary of strangers, he is often cautious around those he is not familiar with, but adores his master. Despite his appearance, Raja is little more than a very large, very gentle puppy towards his master. Loyal to the bitter end, Raja falls into a state of depression in her absence, suffering from severe separation anxiety. He is extremely envious of anyone who receives more attention from Chi than himself.

Brief History: Graphic and violent, dog fighting is a popular past-time in the Underworld. Many kennels have been established in the Underworld for the sole purpose of breeding the most aggressive and powerful of animals for these dog fights. Raja was born in one of a kennel that specialized in ice hounds (hellhounds that control the element ice) and immediately taken from his mother, deserted in a kennel and visited by his caretakers only once a week. He was fed only raw meat and large amounts of blood, a diet intended to make him aggressive and bloodthirsty. Fortunately, Raja was rescued by an earth demon named Rok at a young age, before he had time to develop the personality of a true fighting dog. Rok purchased Raja as a birthday present for his increasingly lonely foster daughter, who had no friends and no mate. Raja was immediately obedient to Chi and the two have been best friends ever since.

Abilities: Raja is an elemental hellhound who can wield the element ice. While his elemental abilities are pathetic when compared to a humanoid demon's, he is still able to produce small amounts of ice from puddles or other water sources. His icy breath can also be used to freeze small water sources, such as puddles or fountains, solid. The trio of whiplike tails he has are embedded with venomous barbs, which can stick in an opponent's skin and contact their bloodstream, infecting them with a toxin that will temporarily cause severe stomach pain and vomiting.
